CABARET ROUGE BRITISH WAR CEMETERY

Since most of the tombs here are of those of unknown soldiers (about 4500), it is no wonder that in May of 2000, the Canadian government chose this location to unearth one body and bring him home to Canada to become the representive of all Canadian soldiers who went to war and never came home. This unknown soldier now lays buried at Canadian War Memorial in Ottawa at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
